GB Productions is partnered with a radio station that provides the local community with a voice. Our aim is to enable the older generation to stay in touch and up-to-date with current times.
WHAT IS RG2 RADIO?
Based in Reading, RG2 Radio has been on air across the south of England since 2020. Over the last two years, we have developed our radio station from having 1 DJ to 25 at any one time. We have a team of new and experienced DJs and presenters and we play a wide variety of music to cater for all musical tastes, from Ska to Afrobeats.

RG2 Radio features versatile shows for the local community and we have international artists from across the world. Plus, we also conduct shows for the community, particularly on health issues relating to children and adult education. We also host events for the welfare of the community, such as The Seven Churches, The Meals Event, and The Reading Community Carnival and we are also involved in Windrush.

RG2 Radio has hosted special programmes throughout the years, including Ethiopian Christmas Celebrations, Bob Marley week, and as part of International Women’s Day, we dedicate the month of March to women. RG2 Radio recognises and celebrates special days such as Haile Selassie’s birthday and coronation day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, Jamaican Independence, the London Carnival and Black History Month.
